Best fitness everyday to keep you fit

Exercise has become very important in everyone’s lives. Most of us live stressed out lives and over work often by working extended hours, running the errands at home and taking care of children and dealing with endless problems at home and work. It is very easy to lose the sense of balance amidst this chaotic life. Exercise helps to maintain your sense of balance and gives you directional thinking. It has great benefits to offer for one and all. You reduce the risks of heart diseases, look younger for a longer period of time, decrease your weight and have a good looking figure and all this is possible through regular exercise.

What is the best fitness routine that can help you keep fit? It depends on the kind of person you are. If you are an athletic person and enjoy activity based routine then you should try something like aerobics or intense work outs in a short period of time. You can enroll yourself in a gym where you get guided instructions for exercise. If you are not the athletic kind and like a minimum amount of activity and if you have higher level of concentration then you should try Yoga. Yoga also helps to cure chronic conditions like Asthma, wheezing, heart diseases and so on.

If you like learning something new then you should try Karate or Tai chi. even these activities are being looked at as a new form of exercise because of the heightened level of activity required for it. Swimming and other athletic sports in the same category are also looked at as complete exercise for your body. There are several ways to exercise however the routing is the most important thing for any kind of exercise.

Exercise Variety

How many of you use variety with your fitness programs?

When the body performs one type of exercise on an on going basis the muscles have something called muscle memory. That is when the body repeats the same type of movement time after time your muscles do get used to the movement. For athletes trying to perform and perfect one movement that is great…

Personally I get bored very quickly and love using variety. I find that when variety is added to your workouts… your muscles are not sure what is coming next and you can keep your body constantly challenged and continue to lose weight and gain strength.

I have heard from many clients who walk miles per day tell me that when they first started walking they did lose weight and after a while they stopped losing.. After a while your muscles are just going through the motion. EXAMPLE – take an individual walking on the treadmill at 3.5 miles per hour every day. After a few weeks this does get easier but you continue to walk the same 3.5 day after day. Your body will get used to this and then the weight loss will stop. Just a little change will help you get off your plateau. You could add in intervals of a quicker pace for 30-60 seconds every few minutes or add in an incline. That little change will help you get right back on track to achieve the results you are looking for which is your weight loss.

With exercise variety also helps you to challenge your muscles. If you belong to a gym and just use the machines… change it up and perform some floor exercise using ankle weights for the legs and hand weights for the upper body. You can also start your program with an isometric exercise until your muscles become fatigued and then challenge your muscles with full range of motion.
